Howto
Here are some notes on how to find out more about a given machine:
- cat /proc/cpuinfo
- df -h
- sudo dmidecode --type 17 for RAM information
- Get CPU Info on a Mac: sysctl -n machdep.cpu.brand_string
Note
The results presented later were obtained from the new MPIK cluster machine lfc301.
